Moordrecht, the early 2000s. A boy with a ball, a dream and the heart of a lion. It wasn’t easy, but on the pitch he found his way. Sparta gave him the foundation, PSV made him a man. Then the world opened up: Old Trafford, Lyon, Camp Nou, Atlético Madrid and Corinthians. Everywhere he went, Memphis stayed who he is: humble, hungry and true to himself. Today his name stands where it belongs: at the very top, as Oranje’s all-time top scorer.

The career

Six clubs. One dream.

From the pitches of Moordrecht to titles in Brazil, with Oranje as the common thread. Always humble, always hungry, always himself. And off the pitch, a man of many talents: a creative artist in music and art, with his album Heavy Stepper and many more tracks to his name. The figures include all competitive matches.

Figures as of September 2026. MysteryKitz is not affiliated with the clubs on this page.

Record holder

Number 1. Of all time.

The Netherlands have played international football since 1905. In all those years, nobody has scored for Oranje as often as Memphis. On 10 June 2025, against Malta, his 50th goal drew him level with Robin van Persie. On 7 September 2025, against Lithuania, he scored number 51 and stood alone. The count now stands at 55, and he isn’t finished yet.
