São Paulo.Corinthians · 2024–now

On 11 September 2024 Memphis was presented at the Neo Química Arena. He called Brazil the Mecca of football and chose the number 94, his year of birth. At his debut against Atlético Goianiense (3–0) more than 46,000 fans filled the stands. ‘Honestly, the atmosphere here can’t be compared with any other stadium,’ he said.

His first goal was a free kick into the top corner against Athletico Paranaense (5–2). Against Bahia he scored twice, on a night he called ‘magical’: Corinthians won for the eighth time in a row in Série A, a club record. The club climbed to seventh place and a ticket to the Copa Libertadores.

Since 2025 he has worn the number 10. In March Corinthians won the Paulista, their first trophy in six years. In December came the Copa do Brasil: in the final at the Maracanã, Memphis scored the 1–2 winner against Vasco da Gama. ‘Nobody believed in us and this team gave the answer,’ he said. In February 2026 the Supercopa do Brasil followed, after a 2–0 win over Flamengo.

In August 2026 Memphis extended his contract until 2028. ‘I can’t wait to get back to work,’ he said.
